Sillplate is published by Alan Clech, an independent developer. All contact goes through support@easy-appcreator.com.
The short version. Sillplate does not collect your personal data. There is no account, no login, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. The app does not send your study activity anywhere, because it does not send anything anywhere.
What the app stores, and where
Sillplate saves your study progress on your own device, in your browser's or the app's local storage. That data is:
- your first name, if you chose to enter one during setup;
- the state or province you selected, and your exam date, if you set one;
- your daily question goal, streak, XP and level;
- which questions you have answered, whether you got them right, and their review schedule;
- which lessons you have marked as read;
- your results from exam simulations;
- your language, theme and sound preferences.
This information never leaves your device. The publisher cannot see it, cannot retrieve it, and holds no copy of it. Deleting the app, or using the "Erase my data" option in Settings, removes it permanently. We cannot restore it for you afterwards, because we never had it.
If you have enabled your device's own backup service (iCloud Backup on iOS, Google Backup on Android), your operating system may include this local data in that backup. That backup is governed by Apple's or Google's privacy policy, not ours.
Network activity
Sillplate works entirely offline. Every question, lesson, font and image is contained in the app itself. Under normal use the app makes no network requests at all.
The Android version declares the INTERNET permission because the underlying WebView component requires it in order to load the app's own bundled files. No connection to any server of ours is made, since we operate no server for this app.
This website
This marketing site loads no third-party scripts, no analytics and no advertising code, and sets no cookies. If you submit your email address to be notified when the mobile apps launch, that address is used once, to send you that notification, and is not shared with anyone.
Payments
If in-app purchases are offered, they are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). The publisher never receives or stores your payment card details. Those transactions are covered by Apple's and Google's respective privacy policies.
Children
Sillplate is a professional certification study tool intended for adults preparing for a licensing examination. It is not directed at children, and it collects no personal data from anyone, of any age.
Third parties
Sillplate contains no third-party SDK, no analytics library, no advertising network and no social login. No data is shared with, or sold to, anyone.
Your rights
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you have rights of access, correction, deletion and portability over your personal data. Because Sillplate holds no personal data on any server we control, there is nothing for us to disclose, correct or delete on your behalf. You exercise complete control directly: your data is on your device, and Settings → "Erase my data" removes it.
The app also lets you export your progress to a file and import it again, so you can move your data between devices yourself.
Accuracy and scope of the content
Sillplate is a study aid. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or associated with the Examination Board of Professional Home Inspectors (EBPHI), the National Home Inspector Examination, InterNACHI, ASHI, or any state licensing authority. Its content does not constitute professional, legal or code-compliance advice, and licensing requirements vary by jurisdiction and change over time. Verify current requirements with your own licensing board.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be published at this address with an updated date. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.

This page is the public privacy policy URL required by App Store Connect and the Google Play Console. Keep it reachable — a link that 404s at review time is a common cause of a first-submission rejection.
